Battle wound
Once upon a time I went on a hike up Adams canyon. I thought this would be an easy hike because I did it when I was in young womens way back when. Boy, was I wrong. It was not easy at all and I was with someone that was in much better shape than I am ... but I pushed through and made it all the way because I really wanted to see the water fall at the end.
However, being the clumsy person I am, ran into a protruding branch on the way up... It hurt a lot, but I didnt stop or say anything (I dont like to look weak to other people) - two days later... my body decided to show me just how much it hurt:
