Today i got an invitation to this group on facebook. I havent hit ignore or confirm yet, its still just sitting there. The description in the group says:
"Maybe you've done it before, maybe you haven't. Maybe you think it's just for old people in big cities.Well, you might be right, but it's also a lot of good fun."
Well, I have never done it. and i do kinda think it is for old people, or at least desperate people. (yup, the same desperate people that call those dating hotlines that you see late at night on the TV) I dont think i fit into either one of these descriptions, but still. The idea of it is kind of tempting, for that reason. What is it really like? Who are the people that actually go to these? Is it a bunch of awkward boys that dont know how to talk to girls any other way (or vice versa) or a bunch of boys that just 'love the ladies' and get their numbers anyway they can. Do people actually do speed dating? Have any of you done speed dating?
Bottom line is, Speed dating in a college town intrigues me.
