Sunday night my cousin Abby had one of the two recitals that she has to perform to get her Masters degree in harp performance, and can I just say, she is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! seriously, I am amazed every time I watch her play. her fingers move so fast and she plays so well, it is BEAUTIFUL! She is the second person in Utah to ever achieve their masters in harp performance... which tells you just how good she is. I should have recorded a piece of the recital to share with you all, but I just snapped a few pics....
Since she reads my blog, this is a shout out to her -- Abby, you are so amazing at everything you do, I love you so much, and I am super proud of you! Thanks for letting me come and listen to you perform.

I need constant change
I dont know what it is about me, but I always feel really ancey for something in my life to change. I am about to go on my big trip and so I when I get back I will need something to change, cause I always do. I think this time it might be my hair.... Remember when i accidentally went blonde? ... I am considering going back to that, but on purpose this time. Here are a few photos of what I am thinking:
Thoughts anyone? Should i go light again, or keep it brown like it is now?

smorgasbord of things
So I have like 1000 posts that I have been wanting to do, but no time to do them.... so here they all are.. layed out for you, buffet style.
First: Would you just take a look at these pictures! I am as ready for spring as the next sunbird, but seriously, how can you not be happy when you wake up to a view like this. I Love the way snow looks!
Next, I got my blog up and going for my new 'business'... So you should all become followers of it, I promise to try and make it inspirational for all my crafty friends... maybe show a couple cool videos and things that I love as well as things that I am doing and making. It will be worth the click of your button.

Its official
I GOT INTO THE BIJOU MARKET!!!!
This morning I woke up with an email on my phone that started
"Congratulations! You have been selected as a vendor for our 2011 Spring market on April 8th & 9th! We have an exciting line-up of old favorites and up and coming artists and we can't wait to see what you have created for this show!"
I immediately jumped out of bed ran into my moms room to tell her, all whilst jumping up and down on her bed in excitement (I was jumping so hard that she started to raise the number on her sleep number bed so I didnt break it).
I am on cloud nine! This is the most exciting news to get when you live a routine life like mine... I started something, and its going somewhere... I feel so good! Then the realization that the show is in a month and i am leaving to mexico for 8 days in the middle there hit, and that is when i decided that I am dropping off the face of the earth for the next month. I have 2.2 books to read. A whole slew of notebooks to create. and I still need to find some chacos today to take with me to mexico. Sleep will be optional for the next month.
So if you dont see me for a while, Its not that I dont like you... Im just going crazy with everything I have going on. I will give you more details on the market when its gets closer!!!!
YAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And this is why....
--- I LOVE THE KAYSVILLE THEATER!
seriously, how could not like going to a theatre where they show a video like this (made in 1985-ish) people scream EWE, but still proceed to leave large amounts of popcorn on the floor.
Tonight we had a YSA activity there. Free movies are even better. Ktown theater really is a hidden gem.
